Ensure an increase in financial inclusion of households and link to business development services for improved livelihoods.
HEALTH:
Improved knowledge, attitudes and practices for enhanced health seeking behavior amongst adolescents, especially girls.

Preventing vertical transmission of HIV amongst pregnant women and care and support to identified HIV positive women and their infants through improved public health systems.

Increased number of Open Defecation Free villages and urban slums in the most vulnerable and excluded areas where Plan works and improved hygiene behavior.
Equitable access to improved institutional WASH facilities and improved hygiene practices at home, Early Childhood Care and Development centers and schools benefiting families, care givers and user-groups.
DISASTER RISK REDUCTION:
Disaster Risk Reduction
Timely humanitarian assistance is ensured in case of a disaster with specific focus on protection, ECCD (including nutrition), education and WASH in affected areas, especially for girls.
Improved resilience for disaster risk reduction including climate change adaptation and comprehensive school safety programmes in villages and urban slums in Plan programme and non-programme areas.
PROTECTION:
Protection
Protection from abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence
Increased number of children receives support of effective community based child protection mechanisms, linked to the mainstream system for response and redressed.
Improved capacity building of duty bearers engaged in mainstream child protection mechanisms.
Increased engagement of Plan India to institutionalize systemic changes through policy dialogue on child protection issues.
Increased number of girls, adolescents and women with safe access to drinking water sources and sanitation.
Citizenship and Local Governance
Increased number of children and youth led organizations effectively participating in programming, advocacy and decision making on child rights issues.
